But there are even more dangers for the Earth. Demons and devils also try to harm humans and various heroes. To confront them, there are the Midnight Sons, who operate from the shadows.

Lilith and the Danger from the Demon Realm
Who are the Midnight Sons? The great arch-nemesis of the Midnight Sons is the mother of all demons, Lilith. She has existed since the dawn of humanity and has been trying to exert influence ever since. 20,000 years ago, the Order of the Midnight Sons stood in her way. Lilith was defeated and imprisoned, but her influence over the Earth remained.
Many of her children, also called Lillin, and allies ruled over separate kingdoms or cults and endangered the world of humans. Their most frequent goal: to free Lilith and ensure her reign. To prevent this, the Midnight Sons are also fighting against Lilith in the present day. But other demonic and mystical dangers such as vampires or zombies must also be defeated.
However, the Midnight Sons are not a fundamentally fixed team like the Avengers. They usually consist of (anti-)heroes who form an alliance in response to the situation; even villains work in this team. Two of the most important members are the Ghost Rider Danny Ketch and Johnathon Blaze.
As spirits of vengeance, they are closely tied to the demon realm, and even 20,000 years ago, other bearers of the spirit fought against Lilith or demons like Zarathos. But other members are also important parts of the group.
A Group Full of Eccentric Characters
Which characters are members of the Midnight Sons? Over time, many heroes and sometimes even villains have worked together as Midnight Sons. Here are some of them:
- As the supreme sorcerer, Dr. Strange has a lot of contact with mystical entities and demons. In some stories, he ensures that the Midnight Sons form, including in the game from 2023.
- His partner Wong has also supported the Midnight Sons on several occasions.
- The vampire Morbius is most known as a Spider-Man villain, but he supported the team in fighting vampires or demons. When the Earth was threatened by hunger-virus zombies, he assembled his own Midnight Sons team.
- When it comes to vampires, Blade cannot be missed. The half-human, half-vampire is well-versed in supernatural beings and is a skilled hunter.
- Elsa Bloodstone is also skilled in the hunt. With her superpowers, she regularly fights against vampires, werewolves, and other monsters.
- Moon Knight is familiar to many from the Disney Plus series. He is endowed with the powers of the Egyptian god Khonshu.
