The RTX 4090 is currently the fastest graphics card, but also very expensive. A gamer got it now for 913 euros. He owes this to Prime Day on Amazon.
With the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, Nvidia launched two powerful graphics cards. However, the very high prices for the GPUs deterred many players. They prefer to go for an RTX 3080, which is now significantly cheaper than a few months ago when one had to spend thousands of euros for a single graphics card.
A gamer has now gotten lucky and bought an RTX 4090 on Amazon for only 1,013 US dollars (913 euros) (via reddit.com). The Prime Day played a significant role, where he was able to save even more.
Gamer combined two discount promotions at once for the graphics card
How did he get the RTX 4090 so cheap? He explained that he had checked for good offers again on the last Prime Day. And on the last day, there were once again many offers with a discount code of 20%.
For an RTX 4090, even two discount codes were provided. “PDTECH” and “CREATORFAVPD” each offered a discount of 20%. However, the gamer found out that he could enter both codes for the same product, and they even stacked.
In the end, he received 40% off for a new RTX 4090 on Amazon this way. Therefore, he ended up paying “only” 1,013 US dollars for the RTX 4090.
How good is the offer? The offer is very good. If you look on comparison sites like Geizhals.de, you can see that you currently have to pay at least 1,600 euros or more for an RTX 4090.
Many products on Amazon offer you additional discounts
What are these codes? When you choose a product on Amazon, you first land on the official product page. Directly under the product name and below the price, there is often a small box indicating a code.
These codes are often linked to specific promotions, such as “Buy 4 and save 5% per product.” However, there are also regularly such codes where you can save an additional 10%, 20%, or more on the current sale price.
Partially, these offers come from Amazon itself, and partially from the vendors. Sometimes there are also so-called cross-promotions where you can save with these codes when you buy a certain number of products from a manufacturer.
These codes are not automatically activated by Amazon, so you must manually check the box for the coupon before making the purchase.
If you are wondering: At checkout, the coupon will be calculated as “promotional credit”.
If you regularly shop on Amazon, keep an eye out for such offer codes, as they can save you a few euros in many cases, or at least save you shipping fees if the shipping is not done directly by Amazon.
Beware of some offers: However, you should be cautious with some offers or at least check if the right content is in the packaging. A gamer recently bought an expensive graphics card, but instead received a counterfeit:
