Even though Dragonflight is well received, there are annoying bugs in World of Warcraft. One costs our MeinMMO demon Cortyn thousands of gold every day.
I think from my columns and opinions on Dragonflight it has become relatively clear that I really like the current expansion of World of Warcraft. While I sometimes have to nitpick about little things, such as the fact that the trading post felt a bit too fast for me, it doesn’t diminish my enjoyment of the game.
What annoys me, however, is a small error with the auction house that regularly drains my gold and leads to wrong purchases.
When searching for an item in the auction house, items with that name are listed. Then you click on the desired entry and can enter the quantity you would like to buy.
During particularly active times, when many players use the auction house, an error occurs or rather a behavior that is not usually the case.
In the small input mask where you enter the desired quantity of items to buy, a “1” is displayed by default. However, this is grayed out, like text usually is, and gives the impression: If I type a different number now, the 1 will disappear. This is also the case in 90% of the instances when the auction house functions properly.
