EA FC 26 will officially release on September 26. A boy has already received the game as a gift. A very special relationship with a football star helped him.
Who is this boy? The lucky one is Jerell Musiala, the younger brother of cover star Jamal Musiala. He received the new EA FC 26 from his older brother a few weeks ago.
The handover took place in cooperation with EA Sports. The Bayern star, who will grace the cover of the football simulation for the first time in FC 26, handed his younger brother the unreleased game. Jerell represented the Musiala family, for which Jamal wanted to express his gratitude for all the support over the years.
In the attached video, Musiala proudly presents his brother with the game along with the new cover, which features him and buddy Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid). Musiala also mentions that it has been a dream for him to land on the cover of EA FC (formerly FIFA) and he hopes that his brother will achieve this one day too.
The first trailer for EA FC 26, in which Musiala also plays a key role, received positive feedback from the community. You can watch the trailer here:

How are the fans reacting? The comments mostly reflect positive reactions to the video. Many fans seem touched by the images:

Additionally, Musiala receives many well wishes in the comments. The Bayern star suffered a serious injury in the semifinals of the Club World Cup against Paris Saint-Germain on July 5, 2025. Many fans are also surprised that Musiala is doing so well already.
It should be noted that the video was recorded weeks ago, well before the serious injury. This is also confirmed by Musiala and EA in their post description: “I surprised my little brother with the FC26 cover a few weeks ago” (via Instagram)
Only because of this was Musiala able to walk without issues in the video. However, the community still has another question regarding FC 26 specifically.

Can Musiala’s brother already play FC 26? A few fans are wondering if the young man can actually play the new FC 26 before them.

Whether Musiala’s brother has really been able to play FC 26 is not clear from the post. However, unlike the fans, we would not claim that Musiala’s brother can already play FC 26.
Traditionally, EA releases a closed beta before the official release, for which you could even apply as a tester on EA Playtesting – Official EA Site in recent years. This version differs from the final release and is meant to gather feedback from testers.
If anything, the Musialas likely only got to face off in a few matches of the closed beta. For future matches, the younger Musiala has already shown great confidence towards his older brother. He announced at the end of the video that he would easily and casually defeat his older brother.
