Place 2: Elrond
Elrond is one of the most well-known Elves from “The Lord of the Rings.” He is a powerful figure whose opinion and counsel many others listen to – including other races. In the battle against Sauron and his armies, Elrond distinguished himself: He fought alongside Isildur, but also Gil-galad in the War of the Last Alliance and helped to defeat Sauron.
Elrond is also a member of the White Council and is a leading figure there. In the further course of Middle-earth’s history, the Elf is also important as the head of Rivendell: not only was Aragorn his foster son, but Elrond also chaired the council that decided what to do with the One Ring. The other races listened attentively to one of the most powerful and wisest minds of the Elves.
