Place 6: Celeborn
Celeborn is particularly known as the husband of Galadriel. Reducing him to that alone would diminish his significance. Like Galadriel, Celeborn also possesses extensive experience and wisdom. He lived during the First and Second Ages and fought many battles. At the time of “The Lord of the Rings,” he defended Lothlórien and marched with his army into Mirkwood, where he took the fortress Dol Guldur.
Celeborn also showed himself helpful to the Fellowship. He proposed an ideal route, drew on his extensive knowledge once again, and provided Frodo and his companions with boats to navigate down the Anduin River.
