Place 7: Legolas
Legolas is a fan favorite and certainly among the most recognizable Elves from “The Lord of the Rings.” He hails from the Mirkwood and is the son of the reigning king Thranduil.
His most important deed was participating in the Fellowship of the Ring. Legolas went to Rivendell and joined Frodo, Gandalf, and Co. Although the Fellowship was soon separated, Legolas teamed up with Gimli and Aragorn to form a strong trio.
In combat, Legolas is very agile and a lethal opponent with bow and arrow. He is swift and often ahead of his enemies. Outside of battle, he impresses with great wisdom and acts thoughtfully. Some major battles, such as those of Helm’s Deep or on the Pelennor, would probably have turned out differently without Legolas.
