Circe, or Kirke, is a legendary witch from ancient Greece. In Greek mythology, she is the daughter of the sun god Helios and therefore quite powerful. She is known for turning lost sailors into animals. Additionally, she is a master of potions, with which she can heal but also manipulate. She is mainly known in our world from Homer’s Odyssey, in which she plays an important role.
Of course, such a legendary witch also had to receive a Chocolate Frog card in Harry Potter. Harry draws one of these cards during his ride on the Hogwarts Express in his first year.
