Wendigo Colossus
Appearances: Fallout 76
Variations: With Earle Williams, you’ll face a pretty powerful Wendigo Colossus as a boss in Fallout 76; apart from that, there are also Morris Stevens and small Wendigos.
What are Wendigo Colossuses? Wendigos are humanoid monsters with unusually long limbs. The colossi are larger and more monstrous. Wendigos are also an urban legend from real life. In the Fallout universe, it is unclear where they actually come from.
They are said to have appeared in Appalachia shortly after the Great War. Morris Stevens was a cannibal who, in hunger, also ate his wife and later transformed into a Wendigo. It is possible that mutation has something to do with cannibalism (via Nukapedia). This also fits into the mythos from real life, which you can read about on gamepro.de.
Due to their size and resilience, Wendigo Colossi are extremely dangerous opponents that are difficult to defeat alone. The smaller Wendigos are nimble, and in the fight against Earle Williams, it was seen how they helped him in combat.
What is the probability of seeing these creatures in Fallout Season 2? Since the first proper trailer for Season 2, we know that at least the Deathclaw is confirmed. The monsters from New Vegas also have a good chance of appearing. In Season 1, a dead Super Mutant was shown, so Season 2 could also include this faction. Especially considering how important Super Mutants are in the Fallout franchise.
