Deathclaw

What is a Deathclaw? The Deathclaw is one of the most well-known monsters in the Fallout universe. It is a giant lizard, usually with 2 horns on its head. It also has large claws, which makes it resemble a mutated raptor.
The Deathclaws were an experiment conducted by the US government before the apocalypse. They are based on the three-horned chameleon and were intended to serve as a replacement for soldiers. How exactly they spread after the Great War is unknown. However, it can be assumed that they escaped when the world was plunged into chaos.
If you encounter a Deathclaw in the wasteland, you should flee quickly. They are not just perfect hunters. If you are unfortunate, you might come across an entire pack led by an alpha pair. Anyone who found the raptors in Jurassic Park scary should probably never encounter a Deathclaw.
