The new season 7 vs. Wild Amazonas starts tomorrow on Amazon Prime, and the participants’ items are supposed to remain a secret until then. However, fans have kept track.
What about the items? Each season of 7 vs. Wild brings its own concept. Accordingly, different rules apply regarding the items:
- Season 1: 7 items per participant
- Season 2: Skill ranking determines the number of items
- Season 3: One bottle per team, filling almost unlimited as long as it fits
- Season 4: Items are found as “loot” and are hidden in the area
- Season 5: Basic equipment + “draft pick” items
What items will be used this year is supposed to be revealed to viewers only in the first episode of the show on October 7, 2025. However, fans did not want to wait and created their own list.

What have viewers discovered? Through the collaborative effort of many viewers and content creators who engaged with 7 vs. Wild, a list was created on Reddit. It shows the likely equipment for participants in season 5 in the Amazon.
Fans on Reddit assume that participants are again provided with a set of camera equipment that they can transport in a waterproof case.
Participants are also said to have a compass to navigate through the jungle. Things get exciting with regard to the standard and draft pick equipment.
What does the equipment look like? According to viewers’ research, each participant received the following items:
- Hammock with mosquito net
- Tarp + strings
- Water bottle
- Water filter
- GPS satellite communication device
- First aid kit
- Backpack
- Viewers’ assumption: Insect repellent
Contestants must share the items from the draft pick. Here, they had to choose one item per person from a selection of items, while the remaining ones did not come into the jungle. According to fans, the contestants chose the following seven items:
- Machete
- Machete with special grind
- Knife
- Pruning saw
- Cooking equipment
- Fire steel
- Tarpaulin
On Reddit, fans even go a step further and try to find out the exact models. They have already listed all the food items of the participants.
7 vs. Wild officially starts tomorrow on Prime Video, while the first episode on YouTube will come two weeks later.
