7 vs. Wild has released an exclusive insight into the new season and shows a scene from the Amazon before its start.
What kind of scene is it? The creators of 7 vs. Wild have already given a glimpse into the new season before the series premiere on October 7, 2025. A new video on YouTube shows 5 minutes from the new season in advance.
It is unclear from which day after the suspension the recordings originate; judging by the condition of the participants and the scenes shown, this should be a scene from the first days.

Insect protection from ants
What does the scene show? In the 5 minutes from the jungle, a scene is shown with survival expert David Leichtle, YouTuber Lucas “AviveHD” Michels, and fitness influencer Imke Salander. The 3 participants are in the middle of the Amazon rainforest when the Alone winner Leichtle discovers an ant nest on a tree.
He then remembers a trick to create his own insect protection. Without hesitation, he places his hand on the ant nest. His hand is immediately overwhelmed by dozens of ants. The survival expert crushes the ants into a paste and rubs the dead insects on his skin.
He explains that the scent of the ants repels mosquitoes and invites the other two contestants to do the same. With a bit more respect for the dangers, they follow suit, although they are visibly unsure whether this is really safe.
However, the expert clarifies that the ants do not harm humans. On the contrary, the natural insect protection will likely help the contestants a lot during their time in the jungle.

How is the scene received? It is the first time that scenes from the new season of 7 vs. Wild can be seen in advance. Fans are especially pleased that a true professional, David Leichtle, is involved, who can teach the participants something.
In the comments on YouTube, there is also repeated criticism of Joe Vogel, who was already part of last year’s season and did not shine as a professional in terms of team communication.
There is also criticism of the production in terms of quality. The video has only been released in 1080p, and the camera struggles quite a bit in the jungle scenes. The image appears blurry and mushy.
