The Twitch streamers Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller (26) and Dominik “Reeze” Reezmann (30) have expressed harsh criticism of the 7 vs. Wild: Season 3 organization. They would definitely not repeat their stay at the survival show.
How did this statement come about? The two Twitch streamers and podcast partners were recent guests in the 5th episode of the Funk podcast “Henke’s Corner”. In the one-hour conversation, the guests talk about various topics and then also touch on 7 vs. Wild: Season 3. Papaplatte and Reeze discuss their experiences with the organization and planning of the survival show.
During their stay at 7 vs. Wild: Season 3, the participants are allowed to film only to a limited extent. Even in the event of an early exit from the series, a strict social media ban is in place to keep the outcome a secret from the outside world.
As always, participants cannot talk about the main series before the YouTube broadcast, but the current episodes of the “Behind the Scenes” series are part of the conversation between the three.

Reeze: “Without our input, there would have been no food”
Why are the participants speaking so negatively about the production? In the interview, the Twitch streamers reveal that there were days they felt were unnecessary. Papaplatte says: “We could have arrived two days later”.
The planning of the preparation days on site, which concerns the safety of the participants during the suspension period, was, according to the statements of the participants, chaotic and poorly thought out.
What happened the night before the suspension? Besides allegedly unnecessary days of preparation on-site, the two also criticized the food situation the day before the suspension. Only due to the insistence of the participants was there actually a meal.
A salami pizza was ordered in an emergency, which didn’t please the vegetarians like Papaplatte at all. He had no choice but to take the salami off the pizza and eat it that way, or to starve.
Reeze explains: “If no input had come from us, there would have been no food that evening, and the next day was supposed to be the suspension.”
The evening before the suspension, after the crisis meeting about why Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild was almost canceled, the information situation for the candidates was very poor. Papaplatte summarizes: “We didn’t know what was going on, it was all a mess. We were told the bottle had to be ready soon, then suddenly not anymore.”
When was the bottle packed? A few hours before the suspension, at 01:30 AM the two were still packing their bottle. This could not be packed in Germany because they wanted to show the contents and packing in the show. You can find out why that didn’t work here.
In Henke’s Corner, the two show a picture of packing the bottle, in the middle of the night before the suspension. In the picture, it’s already dark outside, and the contents of the team’s bottle are still spread on the floor next to the vacuum machine.

The two are sure that if they had had more time to assemble their bottle together, they would have had advantages in the wilderness.
Would the two participate again? To this question, Papaplatte and Reeze have a clear answer: “Under no circumstances.”
Only for a large sum of money would they consider participating in 7 vs. Wild: Season 3 or a similar format again. In 7 vs. Wild, the candidates do not receive any payment for their participation.
Reeze and Papaplatte also expressed surprise at the renewed participation of Knossi and Sascha from Season 2. The two were already somewhat displeased on the way because they already knew what they were getting into again.
After the experience from 7 vs. Wild Season 3, the two can understand the displeasure of the other team well.
