Man-Bat

First appearance: 1970 in Detective Comics No. 400
Who is Man-Bat? Kirk Langstrom fell into a dark cave as a small child and was only found days later. There, he probably spent time with bats because, as an adult, he became a researcher on the very subject. To cure his disease, he experimented with bat DNA and administered himself a serum.
However, the serum transformed him into Man-Bat, a humanoid bat monster that initially only follows its instincts. Batman stopped him and attempted to cure him multiple times. This worked, but in several situations, he transformed back. However, he only wants to live a life with his great love, Francine.
Why would Man-Bat make a good movie villain? As a flying monster, he would be a good opponent in a dark Batman film, but the tragedy of his character is much more exciting. He actually wants to lead a normal life, but the monster within him awakens. Batman has several tragic villains, such as Mr. Freeze, and Man-Bat would also belong to that group. As a not-so-mean villain, he also demonstrated in the comics that he can save people.
