5. Evil Dead Rise
Release Year: 2023 | Rating: from 18 years | Director: Lee Cronin | Duration: 97 minutes
Evil Dead Rise is the complete opposite and only suitable for fans of bloody and bitterly evil films. When the Necronomicon is found and used, it unleashes an evil force that takes possession of a mother, threatening the well-being of her own family.
Evil Dead Rise fundamentally deals with the question of what happens when a mother’s duty to protect her children is reversed, creating a threat. The entity controlling the mother constantly makes Evil Dead-like evil jokes to torture the victims and resembles an even more brutal version of Pennywise. Here, the lead actors are also truly fantastic.
