What kind of games are these? Battlefield has its own niche in a way. It is an arcade shooter, which is therefore not as realistic as various military simulations. Nevertheless, Battlefield puts a greater focus on realism and immersion than, for example, its big shooter competitor Call of Duty. Arma Reforger
What distinguishes Arma? Arma is a military simulation characterized by extreme realism and complexity. This is noticeable, for example, in the ballistics of the weapons. The gameplay focus is overall on large-scale battles involving infantry and various vehicles across expansive landscapes.
Additionally, communication with your teammates is extremely important. You are constantly exchanging information with your comrades and discussing the further course of action – not only in your small squad but throughout the entire team. Often there is a concrete attack plan that you follow.
As an alternative to Arma Reforger, you can also play the big brother of military simulation, Arma 3. The genre classic even gave rise to the popular survival game DayZ, back when it was just a mod.
