What makes this Joker so special? This alternative version of the Joker was for a long time the known villain. However, the Batman of this version was significantly more brutal and cynical. After an incident where Batman forces him to swallow a bunch of pills, the Joker starts to rehabilitate.
Jack became a good citizen and even ran for Chancellor of Gotham. To gain the city’s trust, he uncovered corruption and used nasty tricks to make Batman look bad. At his core, he seemed like a good person.
At least for a while, as his Joker side
fights for control inside. However, Jack recognized this and voluntarily committed himself to Arkham Asylum. But that wasn’t the end of his story; it continued in Batman: The Curse of the White Knight (2019-2020) (Batman Wiki).
