3. Laughing Man (Earth-494)

Who is the Laughing Man? Earth-494 was created by Chuck Dixon and Enrique Alcatena and is a world in the multiverse that is inspired by 17th-century pirates. Here exists Captain Leatherwing, a pirate version of Batman. Naturally, the Joker must not be missing, who in this world is called Laughing Man.
In a crucial event, he attempts to shoot Leatherwing, but his sidekick Robin Redblead protects Leatherwing. Unlike the known Batman, Leatherwing has no qualms about killing others, and he impales the Laughing Man on the mast of his ship.
In addition to these two characters, there is also Capitana Felina in Earth-494. Initially, she is a villain working with the Laughing Man, but she falls in love with Leatherwing and betrays the pirate version of the Joker (DC Database).
