Marvel often pits its heroes against other franchises. This leads to some crazy combinations. We show you seven of them in this list.
The Marvel universe is vast and rich. It would be enough by itself to tell stories for eternity. The number of heroes and villains is indeed very large. However, now and then, Marvel engages in a crossover with another brand to provide some variety.
The following seven examples show how crazy the combinations can be. They are, of course, just a small excerpt from all the crossovers that have occurred over time. All involve comics or mangas. If you know any others, feel free to share them with us in the comments at the end.
JLA/Avengers and Avengers/JLA

This is a crossover between the heroes of Marvel and those of DC. So it’s a meeting that is obvious – after all, the two comic publishers host some of the most popular heroes that exist.
The story revolves around the conflict between the scientist Krona (from DC) and the immortal Grandmaster (from Marvel), who argue over which of their worlds is superior. To find out, the Justice League must face off against the Avengers – a crossover of epic proportions.
While the teams must find twelve artifacts, epic battles break out time and again. For example, Superman goes up against Thor, or Batman against Captain America. Gradually it becomes clear: the real enemies are not the members of the other team, but Krona and the Grandmaster himself. Thus, they must unite to save the world.
