Really good animated films can tackle difficult topics child-friendly. The Prince of Egypt is such a film that, while successful at its time, gets overshadowed by other DreamWorks films, such as Kung Fu Panda or Shrek.
The Egyptian prince Moses and his brother live in relaxed harmony under their father Ramses the Second. However, the brotherly bond is destroyed when Moses learns that he is a Hebrew and must rescue his people from Egypt.

A giant robot lands on Earth, and a boy finds him and befriends him. However, the joy does not last long, as the government wants to destroy the robot out of fear. It becomes an emotional story about violence and friendship.
