Elite Dangerous – Content Boost with “Beyond”
On February 27, 2018, the first chapter of “Beyond“, the major update for Elite: Dangerous, was finally released. The space sandbox from Frontier Development should become even bigger and more complex with this update.
Finally, Coop in Space
Elite: Dangerous receives the long-awaited Coop mode as a major new feature. In so-called “Squadron Missions,” you can fly special missions together with a friend in different ships.
This provides developers with a taste of the even larger Squadrons to come later in 2018, which are said to offer massive carrier ships.
Beat the Aliens!
The great conflict with the Thargoids aliens continues and intensifies in 2018. The aliens arrive with scout ships reminiscent of the design of the old ships from the original Elite.
Humanity strikes back and has a powerful warship at hand in the new Chieftain. Additionally, you should be able to loot ancient ruins of the “Guardians.” From these, even better technologies against the aliens are to be developed.
