Lucien
After the tragic death of their team member and friend Mollymauk Tealeaf, the Mighty Nein discovered that his grave was empty. The deceased body is no longer there, and more importantly, is now under new – or rather “legitimate” – ownership.
After Mollymauk’s death, his body was taken over by Lucien Tavelle, who, unlike Molly, has absolutely no affection for the Mighty Nein heroes.
In addition to Lucien’s raw power, the fact that the group continued to see their friend Mollymauk was one of the greatest challenges of the second campaign. He possessed enormous powers and a variety of spells that made him a truly dangerous opponent.
He was fully capable of attacking in almost any form, and the additional burden that the group was essentially fighting against their former friend and gave up any chance to bring him back only made it harder to ultimately kill Lucien.
