Why do I need so many loadouts? In Call of Duty: Warzone, you can bring your own combat arsenal into the battle royale. While in other genre representatives, you usually rely completely on the loot in the game world, the CoD BR gives you comprehensive options to play with your favorite weapons and equipment.
You should make the most of this special feature. While you can also simply charge into battle with a standard loadout, every advantage you utilize brings you one step closer to the next victory. That’s why many players bring the best weapons of Warzone into the combat zone, and you should also prepare multiple loadouts.
Before the match, you can never say for sure under what circumstances you will collect your loadout boxes. Therefore, it is useful to have the right perks and weapons available for each situation. Here you will find 6 loadouts that you should customize to ensure you always have the right equipment. However, the suggestions here are mainly for Warzone matches with teams – solo rounds are a different story.
Loadouts for all situations – What you should have with you
What do I need before it starts? When presenting the loadouts, it is primarily about the perks, weapons, and equipment, not the setups of individual weapons. However, you will find suggestions for weapons with each loadout. The corresponding links will take you to suitable setups for the weapons.
You need:
- Your favorite all-round weapon in Warzone
- A strong sniper build for your sniper rifle
- Strong SMG for close combat
- Your best perks in Warzone
- A proper labeling of the loadouts
Additionally, you should coordinate with your teammates to share equipment. A large part of the loadouts here, for example, relies on the heartbeat sensor. This tactical item does not need to be carried by everyone in the team, but you should ensure that someone has it with them.
Definitely make use of the “Rename” function for the loadouts. This way, you always have an overview of what is included in the builds – this is especially helpful in stressful situations.
Your main loadout
When do I get this loadout? If your round start goes really well and you have already gathered enough cash before the first free loadout package to grab the $10,000 box, then choose your main loadout. This way you immediately have your best equipment and can also get the important perk “Ghost” with the first free package.
What goes in there? In this loadout, you pack what you believe to be the strongest equipment that you handle best in Warzone. This overkill loadout should be obtained early in a round to fully equip yourself.

- CR-56 AMAX – A bit wobbly, but dealing a lot of damage
- Kilo 141 – Nice and stable, but less damage

- Kar 98k – Fast sniper rifle with high bullet speed, but hits must hit (chest/head)
Splitting the main loadout – 2x Ghost
When do I get this loadout? Take this when you are standing in front of a supply box and the second one is not yet in sight. For example, if you have already gone through the Gulag before the first free box and landed back with your buddies. Here you can choose whether you want to grab a modded sniper or prefer to rely on your all-round weapon. Make really 2 loadouts here – this way you have the option of sniper and all-round rifle during the match.
What goes in there? Here you can pack your weapons from the main loadout and so to speak split it up. Grab a stable alternative for the all-round weapon, as you can replace the missing sniper rifle. Otherwise, do everything as in the main loadout, except that you pack the perk “Ghost” instead of “Overkill”. Grab a rocket launcher as secondary weapon. - Bruen Mk9 – Stable LMG that works like an assault rifle
- FiNN LMG – A bit slower, but very stable
- HDR – Shoots slower, but is a bit quicker to aim than AX-50
- PILA rocket launcher – Allows shots with and without aiming
A panic loadout
When do I get this loadout? As the name suggests, this loadout needs to be quick. You are poorly equipped, come to a box, and know that enemies are around you. To still have a chance, you need a stable all-round weapon, a powerful SMG, and a bunch of ammunition – the weapon attachment “Fully Loaded” makes it possible.
What goes in there? Here again, you rely on “Overkill” so that you can shoot with 2 guns around you. Choose the extra “Fully Loaded” in the weapon attachment slots. This way, you will expand your ammunition reserve in the respective category and you do not have to settle for the meager few bullets that normally come with the weapons.
For your all-round weapon, choose the Grau 5.56 or the M13 to easily equip the “Fully Loaded” extra. The Grau does not need a sight, and the M13 does not need a foregrip. For a secondary weapon, grab an MP or shotgun.

- Grau 5.56 – Fast, stable & versatile assault rifle
- M13 – A bit weaker than the Grau, but high range & stability
- MP5 – The strongest SMG in CoD MW also helps in Warzone
- MP7 – Less damage than MP5, but 60-round magazine possible
- R9-0 – A fire-breathing monster with dragon breath rounds
The endgame loadout
When do I get this loadout? As the last circles slowly close, you get another free loadout box and that’s exactly what your endgame loadout is for. Actually, everything is already set, but depending on the endgame area, you can still gain benefits with certain perks. You can switch to “Tracker” to track nearby enemies.
What goes in there? Depending on how you set up your first loadouts, you should build your endgame loadout. If you tend to need a sniper rifle at the end, then include it. If you prefer using claymores in the last fight – take them with you! It’s important here that you choose your perks as you prefer and pack “Ghost” so that the heartbeat sensors of the enemies cannot detect you.

The buddy loadouts
When do I get this loadout? As a small bonus, you can bring a buddy loadout. If one of your teammates is freshly out of the Gulag and needs a second weapon, or maybe is a newbie and hasn’t leveled up the best weapons yet, you can stick a strong gun into the colleague’s equipment.
What goes in there? You can ask your team beforehand what they would like in it. Since the Kilo 141 is currently very strong in Warzone and this assault rifle is available right at the beginning, rather insert a sniper rifle. For the perks, you need your preferred selection, but for primary & tactical equipment, you can also take something else. If you want to stick with the classics C4 and heartbeat sensor, just pick them up off the ground again.

Additional loadouts make you more flexible
