Arena of Valor is a MOBA in the style of League of Legends. The game is from the Chinese publisher Tencent and has celebrated extreme success in Asia. Arena of Valor plays like League of Legends, but is optimized for smartphones and plays much faster.

Therefore, rounds in Arena of Valor generally last only a few minutes. After 12 minutes, the match in 5v5 mode may already be over. In the even faster 3v3 mode, a match lasts a maximum of 6 minutes. For even faster action, there’s a 1v1 duel and a tug-of-war-style game called “Hook War.”
Otherwise, the gameplay resembles that of most MOBAs. There are over 45 heroes, falling into the usual archetypes of assassins, supporters, and tanks. In its home country China, Arena of Valor is so successful that teenagers and children are queuing up, and the government has had to intervene.
