Apex Legends – New season, new content
What is Apex Legends? Apex Legends is a new battle royale shooter from the creators of Titanfall at Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts. Apex is free-to-play and offers many great ideas in the genre.
So you can respawn again within limits, have playable heroes with unique skills, and an extremely useful ping system for better team communication.
What’s new for Apex Legends?
This is what the battle pass includes: In March, the first season of Apex Legends will start. Similar to Fortnite, you will get a battle pass that you can level up. In return, there are new rewards such as skins and goodies.
In Season 1, additional weapons and heroes will be introduced. A new gun called Havoc is already available and brings a lot of joy to fans.
These are the rumored new heroes in the game: The previous eight heroes in Apex Legends will gain new companions. These three characters are already known through leaks:
- Prophet: A hero who can presumably foresee loot and safe zones.
- Octane: A support hero who uses stim packs.
- Wattson: Another trapper who deals with electric traps.
Why you should play Apex Legends
Apex Legends had a strong start and it seems that the developers are committed to it. Season 1 promises a lot of cool new features, and the competition with Fortnite, which is also starting a new season in March, is likely to further boost development.
It will be exciting to see what the developers will come up with to keep players engaged. However, despite all the similarities, both games are different enough to coexist in the same genre.
