The various short films of the asdfmovie series by TomSka are short, strung-together, and often absurd clips of minimalist stick figures that feel like short comic strips. In fact, TomSka originally published the asdf series as short webcomics, which were then eventually processed into the videos.
There are some recurring characters and jokes that transcend the various parts, but above all, the creator relies on absurd humor in his clips that revolves around timing and unexpected reactions.
So far, there are a total of 15 asdfmovies, with the latest one coming out just a year ago in 2024. Some of the best-known jokes from the videos include the cake with cake flavor, a stolen nose as a weapon, a cheerfully dark muffin, and the “I like trains” kid.
