Marguerite Baker from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Marguerite Baker is the wife of Jack Baker, with whom she lives alongside their children on a remote ranch in Louisiana. After a violent storm, the couple decided that Jack and his son Lucas should investigate a stranded tanker in the swamp that had run aground. There, they eventually encounter the child who would completely change the family’s fate.
Marguerite and Jack decided to take care of the found Eveline, who is not only the main antagonist of the game but also a living bioweapon. Marguerite cooked her soup, provided her with dry clothes, which the girl did not care about at all.
When Eveline regained her consciousness, the mental (and physical) decline of the family began, driving them to madness. Marguerite was the first to be completely taken over, mutating into a grotesque version of herself that made her a kind of human insect – a version that the player as protagonist Ethan must unfortunately confront.
Her arms and other limbs grow longer and more inhuman, her belly houses a disgusting insect nest, and she begins to crawl on ceilings and walls as if she herself were an oversized, bloated insect.

A formerly caring woman who only wanted to take care of a lost child is now a sight that makes her one of the most repulsive creatures in the entire franchise. Another candidate from the franchise who, however, enjoys a significantly higher degree of popularity can be seen on the final page of this list.
