What’s in this guide? Since the release, many players have been diving into multiplayer duels – whether in the new large mode Ground War, the tried and true 6vs6 format, or in the frantic 2vs2 Gunfight.
There is a lot of experimentation with the new weapons and corresponding attachments to find the most effective builds – the best class – for oneself. However, beginners may feel overwhelmed by the weapon selection. We present to you 5 weapons that allow newcomers to get acquainted with the multiplayer.

Keep in mind:
- Up to level 4, only predefined loadouts are available. Only then will the class editor be unlocked, where you can create your own setups.
- You can customize your weapons and their attachments using the gunsmith feature.
- You need to unlock the respective attachments by leveling up (using) the weapon.
- It’s not always advisable to use all possible attachments for a weapon. Often, an “overloaded” weapon performs worse.
- Attachments provide various bonuses but also come with some drawbacks.
- Ultimately, the choice of attachments depends heavily on the individual playing style. Therefore, the suggestions in this guide are purely optional and may differ from your personal preferences.
Kilo 141 Assault Rifle
This is what makes the weapon special: It is essentially the best weapon for beginners. It is easy to handle, has little recoil, and it’s easy to stay on target with it.
Ideal for your first steps in multiplayer – especially at short to medium range. But even seasoned veterans can still make good use of it at high levels.
With these attachments, you can improve the weapon:
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammo/Magazine: Not a must, optional larger magazine
- Sight: Reflex sight or Holo sight
M4A1 Assault Rifle
This is what makes the weapon special: It is arguably the best universal weapon in the game – for many, it’s even the best weapon overall and undoubtedly the best assault rifle. It is slightly more advanced than the Kilo.
The M4 is a perfect all-rounder. It deals good damage and can be improved with attachments to the point where it can compete at nearly all ranges with almost all weapons. The cool part: You get it relatively early – at level 6.
New players may find it a bit challenging until they unlock the appropriate attachments. However, once you get used to the gunplay and gain some experience with other weapons, the switch is definitely worthwhile. Veterans can also do little wrong with this weapon and have a solid alternative for nearly every level.
With these attachments, you can improve the weapon:
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Sight: Holo sight and then the adjustable 4.0x hybrid scope for combat at all distances
- Ammo: Not a must, optional larger magazine
- Muzzle: Not a must, optional muzzle brake or suppressor
- Barrel: Not a must, optional FFS 11.5″ Commando Barrel
M13 Assault Rifle
This is what makes the weapon special: The M13 is essentially a hybrid between an assault rifle and a submachine gun, and is one of the most powerful guns in the game.
It has a high fire rate, but relatively low recoil, and can be outfitted with the right attachments to become almost like a laser beam. At short range, it can easily compete with most submachine guns and can also shine at medium range with some practice.
With these attachments, you can improve the weapon:
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Sight: Reflex sight or Holo sight
MP7 Submachine Gun
This is what makes the weapon special: The MP7 isn’t a damage monster, but it shoots quickly and mows down anything that gets in front of you at close range. The recoil is easy to control, the aim speed is good, and the magazine is large.
At close range, there are hardly better alternatives, and for a “Run&Gun” build, it’s the best choice.
With these attachments, you can improve the weapon:
- Laser: 1mW Laser
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Sight: G.I. Mini Red Dot
- Ammo: Optional extended magazine
AUG Submachine Gun
This is what makes the weapon special: The AUG is another excellent SMG that, with a little practice, can also perform well at medium range. With the right attachments, it can even be upgraded to the secret Steyr AUG for long distances.
It has comparatively lower mobility for SMGs but deals decent damage. It still dominates at close range against almost all assault rifles but excels at medium range more than most other SMGs due to its manageable recoil. A clear recommendation for newcomers and veterans alike.

- Laser: 1mW Laser
- Underbarrel: Angled Grip
- Stock: FTAC Ultralight
Alternative Weapons for Advanced Players
What should I play if I’m more advanced? The weapons we mentioned above are still a strong choice for veterans. However, challenges or the attempt to unlock rare skins may require other weapons.
