If you follow Critical Role, you will also know this group. Because the Dungeon Master of Dimension 20, Brennan Lee Mulligan, will lead the upcoming 4th campaign of Critical Role starting from October 2, 2025.
Dimension 20 also usually plays with the 5th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons and takes viewers and players on journeys through self-created settings. The campaign settings range from high school fantasy stories to urban fantasy to fairy tale horror.
The group currently has over 20 campaigns, each predominantly between 8 and 20 episodes, which makes them slightly more manageable than Critical Role, which has over 100 episodes per campaign. Dimension 20 also focuses more on comedy and more accessible stories. You can also enjoy specials, talk formats, and oneshots with them.
They play with a fixed cast consisting of Emily Axford, Brian Murphy, Siobhan Thompson, Lou Wilson, Ally Beardsley, and Zac Oyama, and for individual episodes, guests are gladly invited to mix things up.
Dice Actors
Dice Actors is a German Actual Play group that plays Dungeons & Dragons using the 5th Edition rules. The cast consists of German voice actors Rieke Werner, Tim Schwarzmaier, Patrick Baehr, Patrick Keller, Christian Zeiger, and occasionally Rubina Nath. The adventure is led by Alexander Karnstedt, who presents his self-created world Thaya.
Their first major campaign includes over 60 episodes, with more than 100 episodes available on both YouTube and as a podcast. A new episode is released every Saturday at 8 PM. In addition to the regular sessions, they offer merchandise such as dice sets or dice trays and live performances at conventions.
