World of Warcraft – Update 7.3 brings Argus
World of Warcraft receives the recently released patch 7.3 “Shadows of Argus” which is the officially last major update for the expansion Legion. But the new patch is substantial and sends your heroes on a spaceship to the planet Argus, where the Burning Legion has firmly settled. So, you finally have the chance for a counterattack against your bitter archenemy!
World of Warcraft 7.3 – Bite-sized to the content buffet
Instead of releasing all Argus content at once and throwing it to the players, Blizzard is taking a clever approach with 7.3. The big content flood of patch 7.3 is spread over several weeks thus ensuring that players do not consume everything at once only to then complain in the forums about the lack of new content.
Therefore, in the three weeks following the patch, new content is added little by little. For instance, you will receive the first story chapter right in the release week, while the zone “Mac’Aree” will come in week 2, and the remaining non-raid content will be released starting from week 3.
World of Warcraft – Update 7.3 – Raid must wait
There is a lot to do in Argus, as alongside the story and the dungeons, numerous dangerous monsters roam the area, including hidden rare mobs and world bosses. And the many quests are often excitingly staged and tell cool stories.
There is also a big raid called “Antorus, the Burning Throne”. However, this raid will only appear in a later sub-patch of 7.3. So you still have time to improve your gear in the previous instances before the new raid presents you with even tougher challenges.
