MU Legend – Better late than never!
The Korean action MMO Mu Legend was supposed to start its open beta in Europe and North America in September 2017. However, the developers wanted to deliver a good game with as few bugs and many features as possible, rather than a sloppy bugfest. Therefore, Mu Legends will be available in open beta on November 7, 2017.
Open beta as a soft launch – No wipes planned
The open beta will not have any wipes. You can continue to use your heroes and progress without losing anything when the game eventually celebrates the full release. Thus, the open beta serves as a soft launch of the game and can be played without concern.
But what is MU Legend anyway? The action MMO from Korea is the successor to MU Online and is often compared to Diablo 3. Like Blizzard’s Diablo, you fight in action-packed click orgies against all kinds of creatures that shred your heroes in large numbers. For this, you get more or less valuable loot that helps you gear up better and become an even stronger monster-slayer.
An item spiral that was already addictive in Diablo 3 and should be no less fun in Mu Legend.
Hack & Slay with MMO features
MU Legend plays like a hack & slay game akin to Diablo, but also includes MMO features. There are plenty of quests, a “soul level” reaching up to level 500 for endgame grinding, companions, and mounts, as well as extensive PvP. In this, in addition to the usual duels and 3vs3 matches, there are epic large-scale battles.
In the game, you start by choosing between 4 classes: the Dark Lord, Whisperer, Blader, and War Mage. A fifth class, the sexy Succubus “Emphasizer”, has already been announced. You can find more information about MU Legend in our article on the game.
