The Elder Scrolls Online – Transmutations in the Clockwork City!
The Elder Scrolls Online has one last big DLC package ready for the year 2017. In “The Clockwork City“, things get really intense and the story of Morrowind continues, even if you don’t own the additional chapter for ESO.
Hours of content and a new raid
The current DLC for ESO takes you to the Clockwork City. There, the Dark Elf god Sotha Sil built everything out of metal, cogs, and oil. Even trees and animals are mechanical! Thus, the map shines in a cool steampunk look.
The highlight of the DLC is the new raid “Sanctorium”. In this, you can determine which bosses you want to defeat in which order. Depending on your choice, you can either face three bosses individually or all at once in the final battle, depending on how hard you want it and what loot you desire.
Besides the raid, there are of course plenty of quests and story content in the clockwork world and the main settlement “Brass Fortress”. If you’re not interested in PvE, you can have fun on the new PvP battlefield “Mad King”.
The points you have to capture there move. This makes the fight a tactical challenge that tests your skills in new ways. However, for battlefields like this, you unfortunately need a version of the Morrowind add-on.
Build your dream gear
Along with the Clockwork City DLC, the regular update 16 comes. Its highlight is the new transmutation system. This allows you to redistribute the properties of your equipment. So if you have a sword that has the property “Fulfilled” but you prefer something else, you can change that now.
All you need are specific resources and a workbench. They can be found either in the Clockwork City or in housing. Characters without housing or DLC can also be invited to other houses to transmute there.
For 2,000 (about 12 euros) or an ESO Plus subscription, you can get the DLC in the crown store. The console version of Clockwork City will be released on November 7 for PS4 and Xbox One.
On Page Three awaits you a game that could make up for the disappointments of its predecessor.
