Realm Royale – New colorful competition for PUBG and Fortnite
What is Realm Royale? Realm Royale is a fantasy battle royale that was formerly known as Paladins: Battlegrounds. Originally, the game was supposed to be a mix of hero shooter and battle royale.
HiRez Studios removed the heroes from Paladins again and introduced a class system that gives the game strong RPG elements.
What’s special about Realm Royale?
Realm Royale stands out due to classes: At the start of the match, you choose one of five classes: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Engineer, or Assassin. Each class has different skills that you can find throughout the match. Each class has certain abilities and strengths that are not found in the others.
Building system like in Fortnite, but different: In the imaginative map of Realm Royale, you will find forges everywhere. In these forges, you can craft special equipment or potions. The crafting here is more static than in Fortnite and only concerns equipment.
Chickens are the secret stars: When your health points drop to zero, you transform into a chicken. With the chicken, you still have the chance to run away and return to the game. If you are killed as a chicken, you are out for good.
Why should you play Realm Royale?
Realm Royale is suitable for you if you like fantasy and RPG systems. You won’t find a class system like this in any battle royale, giving you a new strategic layer in the genre.
Realm Royale is also suitable for you if you are generally drawn to Fortnite but don’t like the quick building. Because here you also have a more relaxed atmosphere and a comic graphic style.
