Monster Hunter World – Hunting monsters with cats
The buy-to-play action game Monster Hunter World from Capcom is finally being released in Germany on January 26 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Then you can hunt monsters in the west, as previous titles in the franchise often did not release in the west or were only available for handheld consoles.
Hunt and slaughter monsters
Monster Hunter World revolves around hunting monstrous creatures. You can fight the beasts in teams of up to three players. But first, you have to track them down. Once you have found a beast, you should proceed cleverly and strategically.
Each monster has its own strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, the beasts frequently change their tactics or attempt to flee. However, you only have 50 minutes to take down your prey, so you must pursue the creatures. Along with various weapons, you also have numerous other items such as bait, poisons, traps, and potions.
Also cool: The monsters have no health bar. So you have to pay attention to their behavior and target weak points. If the beasts are limping, you are close to the kill. But even injured monsters are particularly fierce.
The hunter’s best friend is the dog the cat!
Another highlight of the game is the cute Palicos. These are wonderfully cute cat creatures that help you in the hunt. Instead of hunting dogs, you have loyal cats by your side.
The little creatures recruit other counterparts during the hunt and can even be customized in the character editor similarly detailed as your own hero. So you can create your dream cat or recreate your own pet.
Especially cool and somewhat bizarre: The Palicos are all talented cooks. No matter how strange it sounds, but your cat joyfully stirs the pot and brews tasty and strengthening potions and soups for the hunt.
