Fortnite – The finale of Season 5 and the start of Season 6
On September 20, Fortnite Season 5 will end (unless Epic delays anything) and Season 6 should start shortly thereafter. As is common with Fortnite, both the end phase of Season 5 and the beginning of Season 6 promise quite a bit of fun.
What’s special about Fortnite right now?
Season 5 ends: As is usual in Fortnite, Epic brings a lot of new features and events at the end of each season. Currently, a gigantic cube is on the move, rolling through the landscape while leaving runes on the ground and granting superpowers.
The community is currently speculating wildly about what the cube is doing. Among other things, some suspect that it might destroy Tilted Towers or fill up Loot Lake. More will come to light about the cube in September.
Season 6 begins: By the end of the month, Season 6 should start. This will bring a new Battle Pass with tons of new skins and gimmicks. There’s plenty of speculation about the theme, including more Vikings, more time travel, or even Transformers.
Why should you play Fortnite right now?
Easy entry: Fortnite is constantly changing yet promises a smooth entry for anyone interested in battle royale. Especially at the end of a season, there’s always a lot going on, and players dive in with curiosity to try out everything that’s new.
