What is The Division 2? The Division 2 is a third-person shooter where you are the last line of defense in the ruins of America. The second part takes you to Washington D.C.
The core of The Division 2 is the hunt for loot. Whether alone or in a team, you’ll repeatedly head out on missions to acquire better equipment. This allows you to develop your characters, called “agents,” further and become more powerful.
What’s trending in The Division 2 in May?
In May 2019, the long-awaited endgame content will launch in The Division 2 in the form of a raid. This is supposed to be an 8-player instance that, according to Ubisoft, will really challenge the players.
“Operation Dark Hours” is the name of the raid and it does many things differently than what players are used to in the game. There are so-called “power-play items”, a type of powerful power-ups that are located at special spots in the raid and are crucial for the success of the instance.
According to leaks, the raid has four phases. You start at the Arlington Bridge, fight your way through a massive bazaar full of enemies, then reach a parking lot attacked by helicopters, and finally, there’s a boss fight at the airport.
The raid was expected by players during Easter, but Ubisoft postponed it to May. However, they did not provide a specific date.
Besides the raid, a new patch for The Division 2 will also go live, which aims to solve some issues with the game and significantly change it.
Why should you play The Division 2?
The Division 2 is worth a detour for any loot shooter fan, thanks to its sophisticated team gameplay. The shooter already felt polished at launch and convinced with a strong atmosphere.
