More highlights in February
February has some highlights again, some of which do not yet have a specific date or are very specific. We have added them for you on this page of the list.
New season in The Division 2
What is The Division 2? The Division 2 is a shared-world online shooter. It places a great emphasis on the cover system and the many RPG elements in the form of skills, character progression, and loot.
The game world is afflicted by a virus. Now the city of Washington D.C. is threatened to sink into chaos. You, as an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division (The Division), are to maintain order.
What happens in February? February marks the end of “Year 1” in The Division 2, and the new Episode 3 will be released. It is expected to include new content and take you to the city of New York.
The update is planned for February. However, it is currently unknown when exactly the update will be released.
New DLC for ESO
What is ESO? The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG but not in the traditional sense. It focuses on many single-player content and allows you to enjoy the world of Tamriel regardless of your level.
ESO is particularly convincing with its unique story and the setting of the game world. There are many iconic locations that players already know from the “Elder Scrolls” games, as well as the well-known compass instead of a minimap.
What happens in February? In February, the first DLC of the new year will be released under the title “The Dark Heart of Skyrim”. Harrowstorm is set to contain 2 new dungeons and the prologue for the new expansion Greymoor.
New season for Call of Duty Modern Warfare
What is CoD MW? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a multiplayer first-person shooter by Infinity Ward. The game forgoes huge jumps and wall-runs, as seen in some previous CoD titles. Instead, Infinity Ward focuses on ground combat in their latest Call of Duty.
The shooter features a campaign and many different PvP content. Thus, there is something for every fan of the series.
What happens in February? On February 11, Season 1 of Modern Warfare ends, and it is very likely that the new season will begin shortly thereafter.
However, there has not been an official announcement regarding Season 2. So far, it is only known that there will be a new Battle Pass.
Beta of Phantasy Star Online 2
What is Phantasy Star Online 2? PSO 2 is a Japanese online RPG that mixes sci-fi and fantasy content. It is particularly praised for its action-packed combat system.
Gameplay takes place in small groups and instanced areas, similar to Guild Wars 1. PvE is at the forefront, even though there are PvP areas in certain arenas.
What happens in February? Phantasy Star Online 2 was released in Japan in 2012. Since then, players in the West have been waiting for their version. This will arrive in 2020, and the first closed beta test starts in February.
However, it is restricted to Xbox One and is only for America. It is still unclear how and if we can participate from Europe.
