Battlefield 5 – Firestorm
What’s new in Battlefield 5? Battlefield 5 is a multiplayer shooter set in World War 2. Finally, the battle royale mode Firestorm has now been released.
These are the features of Firestorm
Firestorm is another mode for Battlefield 5. Up to 64 players battle each other, fighting for survival until only one remains. The map is incredibly large, hundreds of times the size of a standard Battlefield map.
As is customary in battle royale, the playing field steadily shrinks. This happens through a firestorm, which gives the mode its name.
Firestorm offers the following special features:
- Fights take place on land, on water, and in the air
- There are 17 different vehicles, including tanks, airplanes, tractors, and even a helicopter!
- You can take out targets on the battlefield to unlock special bonuses and vehicles
- The reinforcements from the regular mode, including the V1 rocket, are back
- You can thoroughly shoot and destroy the environment. Cover will not last forever.
- Available in solo and squad modes, with duo as a limited-time feature
Why should you play Firestorm?
Currently, there are a ton of battle royale games, and Firestorm has tough competition in PUBG, Black Ops 4, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. So why play this battle royale game?
In contrast to the aforementioned games, Firestorm offers a brutal war atmosphere due to its World War setting and vehicles that is further intensified by the destructible terrain.
This makes battle royale even more exciting and intense. And for those who enjoy shooting with weapons from their grandfather’s era instead of colorful futuristic guns, they will be well catered for here.
However, you must purchase the basic game of Battlefield 5 to play Firestorm. The battle royale mode is not available separately.
