Many trainers still miss numerous monsters in Pokémon GO that are simply not available to catch yet. Our MeinMMO author Franzi Korittke reveals which of her favorite Pokémon are still missing in the game and why they would make the game even better for her.
What is it about? Those who have been playing Pokémon GO for a longer time know that Niantic only occasionally releases a new Pokémon in the game. And a look into the Pokédex shows that there are still quite a few monsters missing.
Many trainers have therefore wished for certain Pokémon in the game for some time. Today, I will show you my 5 favorite Pokémon that I wish to see in the game and explain why.
These favorite Pokémon are missing for me in Pokémon GO
Currently, numerous monsters are still missing in Pokémon GO. Some of them are needed to complete a specific region, which is especially important for obtaining the corresponding medals. Here are my personal favorite Pokémon that I wish for in the game:
Kecleon
Kecleon is a Normal-type Pokémon and comes from the 3rd generation. The monster, which resembles a chameleon, can change its color when needed, allowing it to camouflage.
While Kecleon is not particularly strong, like all other trainers, I need it to complete the Hoenn region in my Pokédex. This would finally allow me to obtain the Platinum Medal for this region.
Arceus
Arceus is the mysterious creator Pokémon that created the Pokémon world. It can therefore assume all Pokémon types. This is probably why Arceus is not yet in the game.
In the movies, it is associated with Palkia and Dialga. These two can currently be found in the raids for Hyperbonus 1 and 2. Because of this, there have already been speculations in the community about whether it might finally appear in the last Hyperbonus event.
I wouldn’t mind, as its stats in attack, defense, and stamina are quite impressive.
Hoopa
Another mysterious Pokémon that was even already teased for GO Fest 2021 is Hoopa. I knew that it wouldn’t be available to catch at GO Fest, but I still hoped until the end that Niantic might surprise us with Hoopa.
I could have imagined that they would simply include it in the raids for the last 30 minutes during Raid Day on July 18, 2021. But I haven’t given up hope, as Hoopa is also a suitable candidate for the last Hyperbonus.
For the unbound version of Hoopa, I wish for a strong attacker that is well-suited for use in raids and the PvP league. Since it is of Psychic and Dark type, it only has weaknesses against Bug and Fairy Pokémon. With a proper moveset, it could be one of the strongest monsters in the game.
Keldeo
Keldeo is also a mysterious shape-shifter. It comes from the 5th generation and is of Water and Fighting type. Keldeo, along with the legendary Pokémon Terrakion, Virizion, and Cobalion, belongs to the Knights of Integrity. It is the only one missing from this series.
The stats are roughly equivalent to those of Terrakion, which means it could be strong in attack. Due to its unusual type combination, it could become an interesting Pokémon.
Shaymin
Shaymin is also part of the list of mysterious shape-shifting Pokémon. It is a pure Grass-type Pokémon and can show solid stats in attack and stamina in its Sky Forme. However, it is not very strong in defense.
Even if this monster is not exactly the strongest Pokémon on my list, it is still one of my favorite Pokémon. When I first saw it, I thought it was just great, and for that reason, I would be very happy about a release.
