Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition – Communication Problems in Fantasy Land
What is Divinity: Original Sin? Divinity is a classic RPG. At the beginning of the game, you create a character, choosing either from predefined classes or creating your own.
In the world of Divinity, your avatar has to deal with many different monsters to fulfill quests for NPCs. The quest dialogues of the NPCs are fully voiced in English and the game’s interface is translated into German.
You play as a source hunter and must investigate with your companions to eliminate nasty source mages.

Why should you play it together? In Divinity, you decide as a group how to deal with an NPC or which path your community takes. If conflicts arise, these can be quickly resolved in-game with a fast game of rock-paper-scissors.
However, good communication is crucial even in turn-based combat. Various environmental elements interact in Divinity, creating effects that can ruin the day for either you or the opponent.

For example, oil placed on the ground can be ignited by a fireball, causing anyone standing in it to catch fire. Or your “friendly” teammate might cast a water spell on you before you can activate a lightning spell, shocking yourself.
Combining elements rewards experimentation. However, you should always save before your experiments, as they can quickly lead to the demise of the entire party.
And the best part: Divinity can even be played entirely offline. So you can also play it if you’re sitting in an icy wooden cabin in the middle of nowhere.
Price: You can purchase Divinity: Original Sin for €39.99 on Steam. You’ll need to pay €44.99 for the sequel. Currently, both games are drastically reduced in the Steam Winter Sale. “Original Sin” costs only €9.99 until early January. The game is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Divinity can also be played together on one screen.
