Forget about the summer slump! July 2017 promises sunshine, swimming fun, barbecues, and cool online games! These titles are particularly interesting this time.
While there are no groundbreaking releases in July like in June, five games are still recommended when the summer heat becomes too oppressive and you’re not in the mood for yet another barbecue. On the following pages, you’ll learn which online games are particularly worth it in the summer month of July.
Master X Master – The big Free2Play game package
Master X Master is a game with many game modes that make it a Top-Down Coop Shooter, a MOBA, and an Arena Brawler. All modes are fun and well thought out; none are just added features.
MXM in Coop – Three crazy heroes against the rest of the world!
For example, in the coop mode, you can team up to face hordes of monsters and robots until you blast and slash your way through to the big final boss. If you defeat the giant creature at the end, you’ll receive cool loot to further upgrade your heroes or unlock new characters.
At the start, there are 37 heroes, 10 of whom even come from popular NCSoft games like Guild Wars 2, Blade & Soul, Lineage, Aion, or even City of Heroes/Villains. Especially cool: You don’t just play one hero but select two before each round. With the push of a button, you switch to your secondary hero in Master X Master and continue with them.
Master X Master also impresses as a MOBA
This “tag-team feature” also applies to the 5vs5 MOBA mode of MXM. In it, you play what appears to be a classic MOBA with three lanes and jungle. However, due to the double hero combination, the meta is by no means as set in stone as in other MOBAs.
Additionally, you can periodically summon Titans that clear the field. And similar to HotS in the map “Garden of Fear”, you can even turn into a massive Titan for a short time under certain conditions. And if you’re not in the mood for MOBAs but still enjoy PvP, you can indulge in wild arena brawls in the 3vs3 mode.

On page two, you’ll find more colorful, little monsters!
