Arc Hunter Build 1
Subclass: Arcstrider – Path of the Warrior
Exotic Armor: Liars Handshake
Thanks to the perk Counterpunch, you hit significantly harder after an Arc melee or a melee hit taken and heal yourself as well.

Suitable artifact mods:
- Unstoppable Melee: Arc melee abilities stagger unshielded enemy fighters. Strong against Unstoppable Champions. (Energy cost: 3). You can use this mod in combination with one of the following two mods:
- Arc Battery: Grants an extra shield during activation and reduces cooldown for all Arc class abilities. (Energy cost: 5)
- Thundercoil: Grants bonus damage for all Arc melee abilities and refunds Super energy for finishing moves. (Energy cost: 6)
How to play this build: The combination with the mods fits this subclass perfectly. It creates valuable synergies and turns the Hunter into a melee machine.
Because in addition to the mod bonuses, you get improved melee damage, dodge energy, and often gain the melee ability back completely. The shotgun perk One-Two Punch gives your melee damage another solid boost. So if you skillfully combine melee attacks, class ability, and the shotgun perk, you will mow down everything that stands in your way up close.
This combination was already an absolute killing machine before Shadowkeep and obliterated raid bosses in seconds. Despite Bungie’s announcement to adjust this playstyle, the Hunter should still remain a melee expert thanks to the additional artifact mods.
Arc Hunter Build 2
Subclass: Arcstrider – Path of the Wind
Exotic Armor: Wormhusk Crown
The perk Burning Souls grants you a small amount of health and shield energy upon dodging.

Suitable artifact mod:
- Arc Battery: Grants an extra shield during activation and reduces cooldown for all Arc class abilities. (Energy cost: 5)
How to play this build: “In the thick of it” is the motto of this build. You specialize in quickly getting to the enemy and getting out of harm’s way even quicker.
With this subclass, you not only sprint faster, but you also recharge your dodge ability while sprinting. In conjunction with the Path of the Wind, you also receive damage reduction while dodging.
Combined with the artifact mod and the Wormhusk Crown, you receive health, shield energy, and an overshield to the generally increased survivability while dodging.
This could cause fear and terror in the Crucible as well. Because according to Atzecross, this synergy could function well in PvP.

On the next page, we will continue with the Warlock build.
