What is it about? Humanity had to leave the Earth because it became uninhabitable due to a crisis. Now, in the year 4088, people live together in colonies. However, they are threatened by aliens who constantly attack and want to exterminate humanity.
The only weapon against the aliens are the Ingrids, also called goddesses. They are 5 huge mechs that are piloted by young men with a special talent.
Why should you watch it? In this anime, there is not just one pilot controlling the mech, but a partner system. The story follows the boy Zero Enna, who is assigned to the repairwoman Kizna. Their teamwork is the focus of the anime and is a refreshing change to other mecha animes.
