Fallout 76
What is Fallout 76? The online multiplayer action RPG Fallout 76 is the first purely online offshoot of the well-known RPG series Fallout.
What is it about? The Fallout series is known for its extraordinary setting. This is also the case in Fallout 76. An alternate version of our world has been devastated by a nuclear war, and the survivors are now trying to cope in a hostile environment. Fallout 76 takes place chronologically before all the other installments in the series.

Fallout 76 still aims to be a true Fallout game, but also combines online and survival elements. It is possible to explore the game world as a lone wolf or work with friends to complete tasks and gather resources. PvP elements are also present.
Release: November 14, 2018
Business model: Buy-2-Play
Genre: Online multiplayer action RPG
Comparable to: Fallout 4, Conan Exiles
What does it include? Fallout 76 offers a huge game world. It’s called Appalachia and is located in West Virginia, USA. Traditionally, players can expect an extensive perk and attribute system that allows character development in many directions. Mutations allow for further adjustments. Additionally, there is a wide range of weapons that can be modified in numerous ways.
Unlike previous series installments, the world of Fallout 76 will have no human NPCs. Instead, players will populate the world and rebuild it. A special system – the C.A.M.P system – allows players to establish settlements anywhere.
Even in the absence of humans, there will still be a full-fledged story. However, this will be told through audio logs, notes, and old terminals throughout the game world.

This makes Fallout 76 special
- First pure online experience in the Fallout series
- Giant open game world – 4 times larger than in Fallout 4
- Complex character design with the well-known S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system
- Focus on crafting and survival elements
- Extensive C.A.M.P building system
Fallout 76 offers the following multiplayer elements
Fallout 76 is purely an online game. While you can also roam West Virginia alone, Fallout 76 is designed as a group game. Up to 4 players can work together in a group, with a maximum of 24 players fitting on a server.
The entire world is populated by players. Each Vault resident is controlled by another player. It will be possible to fight against other players at any time – PvP is an integral part of Fallout 76.
Interestingly, the gaming experience is not limited by servers. You can take your character and progression anywhere to play with friends, for example.
