What is it about? The story centers around the 5-year-old prince Ojamaru Sakanoue. He comes from the Heian period, about 1,000 years before our current time. One day, out of boredom, he steals a scepter from the king of the underworld, accidentally falling into a time hole into modern Japan.
In Moonlight Town, he begins a new life and befriends a boy named Kazuma Tamura. Ojarumaru moves into the family and disrupts their daily life with his laziness, which comes with being a noble, and his ignorance about the modern world.
Who is the anime intended for? The characters are drawn in chibi style, and the episodes last about 10 minutes. As you might guess: This anime is also mostly aimed at elementary school children. However, even adult fans can take something away from this anime because Ojarumaru’s coziness can contribute to a stress-free everyday life if one learns from it.
