On October 20, 2009, the first Borderlands game was launched. Borderlands 3 celebrates the birthday of the loot shooter with various events.
The first of the five weekly rotating events starts now. During the Boss Week, you’ll be rewarded with additional legendary loot. We have also compiled the times and names of the four other events for you.
Happy Boss farming in Borderlands 3 – Here are the 13
This is the first event: The celebration starts this week. The first of the five events is currently underway and will last until October 8 – the Boss Event.
Some of the bosses in Borderlands 3 have an increased chance to drop legendary loot:
- Mouthpiece – “Gatling Gun” drop chance increased
- KillaVolt – “Brainstormer” drop chance increased
- Gigamind – “Nagata” drop chance increased
- Katagawa Ball – “Rectifier” drop chance increased
- Katagawa – legendary class mods (for all four vault hunters)
- Rampager – “Kill-o’-the-Wisp” drop chance increased
- Warden – “Echo” drop chance increased
- GenIVIV – “Ten Gallon” drop chance increased
- Aurelia – “Creeping Death” drop chance increased
- Graveward – “Earworm” drop chance increased
- Pain and Terror – legendary class mods (for all four vault hunters)
- Troy – “Nova Berner” drop chance increased
- Tyreen – “Bitch” drop chance increased

These events are still waiting for you: After October 8, four more events will follow. However, not many details are known about these yet. Borderlands 3 reveals the exact contents every Monday of the respective week:
- October 8 – 14: Hunt for rare spawns!
- October 15 – 21: Show me the Iridium!
- October 22 – 28: Chaos on Twitch!
- October 29 – November 4: It’s a secret…
