In comparison to Nolan’s previous blockbuster Oppenheimer, this is more than double the number of views in the same timeframe, as its trailer was viewed around 50 million times in the first 24 hours. With Oppenheimer, Nolan won a total of 7 Oscars.

What data was collected for the trailer? According to the data analyst, the largest audience for the trailer does not come from YouTube (26%), but from TikTok (27%). Other platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X, follow closely behind.
For Universal Pictures, the trailer for The Odyssey is the most successful trailer launch of the year and even surpassed the hit “Wicked: For Good”, which was viewed a total of 113 million times in the first 24 hours.
