In Helldivers 2 has the new expansion not only brought content for the bugs but also real bugs and further technical problems. Therefore, players have now come together and urged the developers to fix the issues instead of producing new content.
What problems are there? With the release of the new expansion “Into the Unjust”, the developers of Helldivers 2 have added a whole new way to play. Deep caves, new and improved bugs, and a scary scenario that is supposed to be particularly challenging awaits the players.
However, many are currently unable to enjoy the expansion because many technical problems cause crashes, lags, and low FPS. While the developers are already working on the issues, players prefer to solve the topic fundamentally.

Time to tackle the problems at the root
What do the players demand? On Reddit, a post has now received over 12,000 upvotes. In it, players demand that the developers now take care of the technology of Helldivers 2.
It’s not just the current patch that causes problems. Again and again, Helldivers complain about the size of the game, which turns out to be gigantic at 141 gigabytes.
The players want the developers to simply refrain from bringing new content for two months. The developers, who have nothing to do with the technology of the game, would then have extra time to plan new creative missions, events, and content, the players say.
Why would players forgo new content? The players of Helldivers 2 would voluntarily forgo new content because they are currently quite satisfied with the game if they can actually play. The heroes from Above Earth write on Reddit:

- Floodborne: “I don’t care how long it takes. I like the gameplay loop enough. I just want it to WORK.”
- Admiral__Neptune: “The people creating new content are not the programmers managing the game code. Stopping new content would do little to free up developer time for bug fixes. Only hiring more people would improve the process.”
- Greaterdivinity: “A 60-day plan? Like Arrowhead had last year? I would be for it. But it is incredibly frustrating that literally nothing has changed at Arrowhead after a year and several communications about all the improvements they make to avoid this.”
