The YouTuber iShowSpeed meets the football star Neymar Jr. A 12-second long TikTok clip about the two goes viral and quickly reaches 100 million views.
The YouTube streamer Darren “IShowSpeed” regularly meets with well-known celebrities to draw attention to himself and his videos. In his latest stunt, he met with the football god Neymar Jr. Not only a YouTube video was created, but also a TikTok clip.
And the clip on TikTok reached over 110 million views in no time.
A short dance video is created in the lobby of a hotel
How did the video come about? The YouTube streamer was a guest at a match between PSG and Al-Nassr in Osaka. After the game, the streamer was invited to the team’s hotel, where he had the opportunity to briefly meet Brazilian star Neymar. And he didn’t miss this chance.
Together they filmed a short TikTok video showing their dance moves to the beats of the popular Brazilian song Parado no Bailão. The video has already been viewed over 110 million times on his TikTok account.
On TikTok, however, you will only see a very short excerpt, the entire video on YouTube is around 4 minutes long, but has only about 2.7 million views, significantly fewer than the TikTok clip. We have embedded the clip here for you:
YouTuber grows rapidly, but is just as controversial
Who is he anyway? The 18-year-old IShowSpeed is a rapidly growing YouTuber who is passionate about gaming, football, and rap. With big stunts, like now with Neymar, he draws attention to himself.
IShowSpeed keeps standing out with impulsive, thoughtless actions. With him, you never know if it’s just bad luck or if he’s just acting up to provoke or create chaos:
- Once he accidentally leaked the phone number of a professional football player from FC Bayern
- Another time, he fell flat on his face with a stupid show for an NFT project.
- Once he was banned in Valorant after making sexist comments there.
Anyone who follows the controversial YouTuber knows that the next scandal is never far away. At some point during his career, he himself realized that he sometimes expresses himself strangely and makes nasty remarks. But he’s still young and feels he can get away with it:
