Darth Revan

Revan is one of the most fascinating characters ever in Star Wars. For he clearly exemplifies how a Jedi turned into a Sith, and that was already 3,900 years before Anakin. After being seduced by the dark side of the Force, he founded a Sith Empire. Betrayal followed by his own apprentice, which, according to the Rule of Two, was to be expected.
Revan lost his memory, but later returned to the light side of the Force. Nonetheless, he had to balance the good and evil within him throughout his life. This tightrope walk would make Revan an exciting main character, embodying various facets of the Force.
